The USC Upstate Spartans are having a lackluster inaugural year in the Big South Conference. They are currently in last place with a 1-13 conference record (6-23 overall). On the other side is the Campbell Fighting Camels who sit solely in second place (10-4, 17-11) with their final game against conference leader Radford at home. The Camels have only been to the NCAA Tournament once (1992 as a #16 seed). They are led by senior guard Chris Clemons. He is the leading scorer in the NCAA averaging 30 points a game. He is the the all-time leading scorer in Big South history. He has over 3,000 career points. He has scored 40+ points in 4 games this season. He is a true baller and any team that has a player like him has a chance to make it to the Big Dance. The G.B. Hodge Center is the smallest college basketball venue in the nation, the perfect setting to see a player with NBA Draft potential do his thing.
